Welcome: The Yahara River Chorus is a very diverse group of women from Madison, Wisconsin, and the surrounding counties, who get together every
week to rehearse and to strive for our best performance of 4-part barbershop harmony, a capella style,
under the direction of
Jennifer Johnson.
Although we are all members of
Region 22 of
Sweet Adelines International,
and sing the traditional type of barbershop music, we also sing music from various genres such as gospel,
swing, and be bop and artists and composers such as Billy Joel, the Beatles, and Irving Berlin.
We are proud to have members of our chorus in quartets including:
Charisma!, and k'Motion
Rehearsals
We rehearse every Tuesday night at 7:00pm
