real women. real harmony. real fun.

That's the Sweet Adelines International motto and that description fits the Yahara River Chorus perfectly!

We are a group of women from varying backgrounds who share one passion: we love to sing. Our members come from Madison and many surrounding communities. We sing four-part a cappella harmony in the barbershop style. This includes both traditional barbershop repertoire and more contemporary music arranged in the barbershop style from many genres, such as gospel, swing, and be bop, and artists and composers such as Billy Joel, the Beatles, and Irving Berlin. We have a song for every occasion! We are proud members of Region 22 (http://www.region22.org/) of Sweet Adelines International (http://www.sweetadelineintl.org/).

The Yahara River Chorus sings at both community service and private performances. If you are interested in having our chorus sing for you, please contact our Events Coordinator.
